The wait is over Australia. John Frost and Suzanne Jones are bringing the world’s best musical, not just The Wizard of Oz, but Andrew Lloyd Webber’s London Palladium production. The one with Anthony Warlow in it. They found a dazzling Dorothy after searching over 400 voices and dancers in red shoes. Samantha Dodemaide who once was ‘Singing in the Rain’ will follow Lucy Durack, as Glinda the Good Witch, her dog Toto, Scarecrow, Tinman and The Lion as they sing the classics on the yellow brick road. The magical land of Oz is brought to life in spectacular costume, dance and song. The Wicked Witch of Ipswich, sorry I meant the West, creates drama and tension, while Dorothy and her troupe hit back with some new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. Everyone will put on their red shoes and dance the hues of this delightful classic. L-o-v-e Dorothy.
