London’s West End smash hit musical School of Rock, based on the massive movie hit, is so much more than a party pleaser. The Daily Telegraph summed it up perfectly as ‘the most enjoyable few hours money can buy’. When failed rock star Dewey Finn passes himself off as a high school music teacher at an uptight posh school, things go from bad to worse to OMG. But Dewey has that magic touch all kids adore. Authenticity, passion, somewhat dubious talent, bad dress-sense and a huge heart that spots all their weaknesses. He lets their love of music beat all self-doubt. The audience smiled for nearly three hours. And it wasn’t just families singing along.
